Base of Operations: Kyoto, Japan; Millennium City, MI. USA
Group Affiliation: Squadron eXtreme
Motivation: Responsibility of Power
Abilities: The subject has the mutant ability to absorb and project electricity. It has been reported that the subject can exercise a great deal of control as to how much electrical energy she can produce – she has been seen delivering a mild static shock as well as releasing a powerful bolt of electricity, whose yield was estimated to be approximately 2 gigahertz. The subject has also displayed the ability to shape the electrical plasma in simple, solid shapes, usually bladed weapons such as katanas.
Skills: Proficient in the use of the katana, talented singer and voice actress, expert in origami, polyglot with a mastery of English, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, and Spanish
Paraphernalia: The subject wears a suit of armor designed by Squadron Supreme member Lady Steele (UNTIL Superhuman Registry No.: 759733) that converts ambient positively-charged ions into negatively-charged ones, which are then used for offence and defence. The armor also amplifies her physical strength, allowing her to lift approximately 1 ton.
Threat Level: Gamma
Very little is known about the subject prior to her joining the Squadron eXtreme.
Aiko (あいこ) and her fraternal twin Ai (愛, Love) are members of the Matsumoto clan, one of the most well-regarded and prestigious Samurai families in Japan. Her father was the famed geneticist Hideo Matsumoto while her mother Akemi was the Japanese super-heroine Masayoshi (正義, Justice), who could manipulate electricity as well as fire and ice.
The twins were born and raised in Kyoto Japan until their mutant powers manifested at the age of 12. Although Aiko adapted to having metahuman abilities, Ai was soon driven insane by the powerful psionic and psychokinetic abilities she developed. Killing her parents in a fit of homicidal rage, Ai assumed the guise of Psikill, not just one of the youngest but also one of the most notorious Japanese super-villains currently at large.
Aiko relocated to Millennium City less than a year ago after the death of her parents and joined the Squadron eXtreme under the terms of the Underage Metahuman Agreement between UNTIL, the Squadron Supreme and the United States federal government (see Mutant Initiative X-23, UNTIL File No. 14545184522984).
